“Don’t call me a tour guide. I’m more than that,” states Jane Marx with a mischievous grin at the outset of a tour in the East Village. The self-proclaimed New York Tour Goddess has been imparting New York history with a touch of sass and a dash of humor for more than 30 years to tourists and locals alike.
I LOVE to get these posts. Always reminds me of the fun I’ve had on your tours !!! And good to know that others continue to get to share your wisdom, expertise and humor as well.
And makes me jealous as h*** that i don’t live close enuf to take more advantage of your ‘character’ – and that can be interpreted more ways than one. *wink*

Jane is the best! She can take a native Texan and in 1 day teach him more history of the city than most natives know.
